CedarCottonwoodElmDana is an Ohio native who moved to Charlotte, North Carolina soon after graduating nursing school. She spent a year working with adult medical surgical patients and then spent the last 12 years working with the acute care pediatric population at Levine Children’s Hospital. During her time as a RN she took a leadership role as a LEAN core team member to improve employee and patient satisfaction, and safety outcomes.
She knew she enjoyed helping others, but wanted to pursue a career that would allow her to have more autonomy over patient care and make a bigger impact on the health of her patients which led her to become a Family Nurse Practitioner. She is very excited to join Carolina Asthma and Allergy Center and help patients along their healthcare journey.
In her free time she enjoys spending time with her husband, 1 year old daughter, and dog Walter. She is a big foodie and loves to explore all of the new restaurants Charlotte has to offer. She also enjoys the outdoors, playing tennis, working out, and traveling.
